Sales and Marketing

An opportunity has arisen in our sales and marketing department for an ambitious and target driven individual who is keen to embark on a successful sales career.

This appointment would suit a well educated young and ambitious individual on the ascendancy and who enjoys working in a progressive role with a small but close knit team.

Depending on the quality of the candidate the salary will range between £20k – £24k in the first year with an OTE of £30K with commission/bonuses.

Ultimately we are looking for a natural hard worker who is self-motivated and target driven that can meet the criteria as set out below:

  • Assist the sales team to produce quotes for prospects
  • Use the all-in-one marketing tool (Mailchimp) to produce e-mail campaigns to prospects
  • Assist the team in producing new business appointments
  • Prospecting using a variety of methods including but not limited to foot canvassing, phoning and e-mailing potential customers
  • Organised and thorough, you’ll have the natural ability to effectively and efficiently plan your daily activity
  • Confidence in speaking to and building relationships with potential clients
  • Skills in information gathering & open questioning highly desirable
  • A hard-worker who is self-motivated and driven to meet monthly target
  • Technologically minded (although training will be given)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook (including diary management), Word and Excel. Ability to use Mailchimp and or web-design capabilities are desirable but not essential.

Trainee Service Engineer

An exciting opportunity has become available at our well established and accredited copier/printer dealership based in Romsey, Hampshire. Due to continued expansion Allied Office Machines Ltd are looking for a Trainee Photocopier Engineer to support our busy service team.

Whilst training, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of customer care with the aim to becoming a fully qualified service engineer within the company.
The tasks involved are well rounded and generally different from day to day. This will range from
being in the office and repairing and refurbishing machines, as well as on the road attending equipment within customer’s premises and installing and collecting equipment throughout the South of England. Career development within the company long term will be aided with the close support of the service team, as well as accredited training programs to further knowledge and understanding.

Do you have what it takes?

Ideally the successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • 21+ years of age for insurance purposes.
  • Possess a full clean UK driving license.
  • Working knowledge of basic IT.
  • Good time management and organisation
  • Fit and able to move/lift equipment as and when required.
  • Presentable and polite.
  • Must be a keen learner and be capable of working well in a team as well as independently.

Skills:

  • Good practical/technical ability.
  • Conscientious and with a keen eye for detail
  • Good written and excellent verbal communication skills across all levels

Experienced Photocopier Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of customer care with the aim to continue gaining knowledge of MFDs and IT Networking to expand their own progression as well as the company’s.
The tasks involved are well rounded and generally different from day to day. This will range from
being in the office and repairing and refurbishing machines, as well as on the road attending equipment within customer’s premises and installing and collecting equipment throughout the South of England.
Career development within the company long term will be aided with the close support of the service team, as well as accredited training programs to further knowledge and understanding.
You will be expected to work with minimum supervision, however there will always be full support from your Technical Manager and the team.

Do you have what it takes?

Ideally the successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • 21+ years of age for insurance purposes.
  • Possess a full clean UK driving license.
  • Excellent time management and organisation.
  • Fit and able to move/lift equipment as and when required.
  • Presentable and polite.
  • Must be a keen learner and be capable of working well in a team as well as independently.

Skills:

  • Experience on Ricoh MFDs.
  • Experience with Kyocera/UTAX (although not essential).
  • Good knowledge of IT networking for Print and Scanning.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
  • Ability to diagnose and rectify faults in a time/cost effective manner.
